Proof of Address

Proof of Address verification is processed manually, thus it may take longer than usual when there’s a surge of new users.

Accepted documents
The documents we accept in this stage are:
bank statement
debit or credit card statement
utility bill (water, electricity, gas, internet, phone)
payslip, payroll statement. or similar document from your current employer
insurance statement
tax document
residence certificate
any letter from the government authorities.

Must-have elements
Any document you submit as Proof of Address must contain the following:
your full name
your home address
date of issue
indication of who issued the document.

General guidelines
The document you submit as Proof of Address cannot be older than 3 months. To make the verification process easier and quicker, make sure that the photos are clear, sharp, well-lit and all data is visible without zooming in. The document cannot be filled in manually. If you’re uploading a bank statement, it cannot be empty - there has to be at least one transaction. Screenshots from any apps will not be accepted - only screenshots of PDFs can. The document must be written at least partially in the Latin alphabet (all necessary details must be readable in the Latin alphabet).

Q: Why is my verification taking so long?
A: We’re trying our best to verify all users in the shortest amount of time, but sometimes there is a surge of new verifications. Please check your email, you might have received a message from us already. If not, please be patient - you will be verified soon.

Q: I live with my parents, how can I prove my residence?
A: Even if no utility bills are issued under your name, you should have a personal bank account. Upload the statement from that account to get verified successfully.

Q: I don’t have any paper documents, what should I do?
A: In that case, you can provide us with a picture of your digital document - please make sure all important details are visible.

Q: I can’t complete verification on my device, what should I do?
A: If you have problems with your device that won’t let you complete the verification process, contact support chat at https://support.ramp.network/.

Q: Can I use my passport/ID/driver’s license as Proof of Address?
A: Even though your passport/ID/driver’s license might have your address on it, it cannot be accepted. Any document you submit must have a visible date of issue on it and be no older than 3 months.

Q: Can I use my health insurance card for identity verification?
A: No, we only accept government-issued IDs, passports, and driver’s licenses.

Q: Can I upload an unopened letter?
A: In order to determine authenticity, we need to see the actual document, not just an envelope.

Q: I haven’t received the verification link.
A: Please check your 'Offers' tab or 'Spam' folder. If it's still not there, whitelist this domain: em440.ramp.network on your mail.
