We provide individuals and businesses with the following services, respectively:
Individuals from supported countries can buy and sell cryptocurrencies directly via our platform using their favorite payment or payout methods.
Businesses partners can integrate our widget into their applications to enable their users to purchase and sell cryptocurrencies without leaving our partners’ apps.
Unless otherwise stated, this section focuses on our services to individuals.
❌ What services we DO NOT provide
We DO NOT provide any of the following:
Cryptocurrency wallets: We do NOT provide cryptocurrency wallets. Before you get started, you'll need to set up your own cryptocurrency wallet. Your wallet functions as your storage for digital assets. We do not store your funds, nor do we have access to your private keys. You take the sole responsibility for managing and securing your digital assets, so make sure to research and choose a reputable cryptocurrency wallet provider.
Custody of cryptoassets: Unlike banks or traditional financial institutions, we do NOT hold custody over your cryptoassets. When you purchase a cryptocurrency through our platform (directly or via one of our integration partners), you have full ownership and control over it. Our role ends when we send the cryptocurrency to your wallet (or when we send fiat currency to your account, in case you’re selling crypto to us).
Financial or investment advice: We do NOT offer financial or investment advice in any form. While we provide access to a diverse range of cryptoassets, you alone are responsible for researching and understanding the risks involved with each cryptoasset, and the decision to purchase them.
Cryptoasset validation or endorsement: Even though we conduct our own cryptoasset due diligence (research into a cryptoasset), this does NOT count as our endorsement of it. You should always do your own research before purchasing a cryptoasset. You are ultimately responsible for making any purchase decisions based on your own analysis, risk tolerance, and investment goals.
Stability of profit guarantees: We do NOT offer guaranteed profits or stability for the cryptoassets you purchase through Ramp, nor do we have any control over cryptoasset prices. Cryptoassets are considered a high-risk investment. Cryptoasset prices may fluctuate up or down, or even fall to zero due to a variety of reasons outside our control.
