Why didn't I receive an email with a verification code?

Troubleshooting potential reasons why you may not have received an email verification code.

Updated over a week ago

Please remember that the verification code is sensitive information. Keep it secure and do not share it with others. If you suspect any unauthorized access, contact our support team immediately.

The verification code is a 4-digit number (e.g., 9794). Please note that this is just an example. Each code you receive will be different and is valid for only 10 minutes. To continue with your transaction, simply copy and paste this code into the Ramp Network application.

Here is an example of what the verification email should look like:

(Note: The actual email may vary slightly in design depending on your email provider and personal settings.)

If you haven't received your verification code email, there are several troubleshooting steps you can take to resolve the issue:

1️⃣ Check Your Spam or Promotions Folder

Sometimes, emails with verification codes can be mistakenly filtered into your spam, junk, or promotions folders. Check these folders to see if the email has been misdirected.

2️⃣ Clear Cookies and Cache

Clearing your browser’s cookies and cache can improve loading speeds and resolve login issues. Here’s how:

  • Google Chrome: Go to Settings > Privacy and Security > Clear Browsing Data. Check "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files," then click "Clear data."

  • Firefox: Go to Options > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data > Clear Data.

  • Safari: Go to Preferences > Privacy > Manage Website Data > Remove All.

3️⃣ Whitelist Our Email Domain

Ensure that emails from our domain (em440.ramp.network) are not blocked. Add this domain to your whitelist or safe sender list. Here’s how you can do this:

  • Gmail: Open the email, click on the three dots in the top right corner, and select "Add [email protected] to Contacts list."

  • Outlook: Right-click the email, select "Junk," and then "Never Block Sender."

  • Yahoo: Open the email, click on the three dots, and choose "Add to Contacts."

5️⃣ Alternative Login Options

If you continue to have trouble receiving your verification code, consider using alternative login methods such as Apple Sign In or Google Sign In.

If you've followed these steps and are still experiencing issues, please reach out to our support team for further assistance. We’re here to help resolve any problems you might encounter.
