The funds are sent to you immediately after we receive your crypto, so the overall timing depends on two main factors:
1οΈβ£ How quickly we receive your crypto
The faster you complete the crypto transfer, the sooner we receive it. Keep in mind that blockchain confirmation times and potential network congestion can affect how fast your transfer is processed.
The first step is entirely up to you: the faster you make your transfer, the faster the next steps can happenΒ and transfer is processed and confirmed by the blockchain
it depends on the cryptoasset you're selling and which blockchain it's on. It is beyond our control.
Some blockchains confirm transactions faster than others. For example, Cosmos may process and confirm a transaction in a few seconds, while Bitcoin transactions, on average, take anywhere between 10 and 30 minutes to be completed.
Even faster blockchains may experience congestion during periods of high usage, causing transactions to wait in a queue and take longer than average.
High demand for crypto can also cause network congestion, potentially delaying transactions. Additionally, delivery times are based on past experiences and may be affected by unexpected delays, such as the need for extra checks or additional actions.
2οΈβ£ Payout method and bank processing timing
Once we send the payout, how quickly it reaches you depends on two factors:
The payment method you choose.
How fast your bank processes the transfer.
Hereβs an overview of the expected settlement times for each method:

β οΈ What to do if my payout is taking longer?
While most transactions on the Ramp Network platform settle within minutes, there can be exceptions. Here are the most common reasons why your payout might be delayed.
π³ Payout method
The timing of your payout depends on the method you choose and how quickly your bank processes it. Settlement times can range from as fast as 10 seconds to up to 2 business days.
π‘ Tip: For quicker payouts, consider asking your bank to enable Fast Funds or RTP.
π΅οΈ Extra checks required
Occasionally, transactions may require additional checks, which can cause a delay of up to 1 business day. We conduct these checks to ensure safety and aim to complete them as swiftly as possible to minimize inconvenience.
π Network Congestion
Blockchain networks can experience heavy traffic during peak times, causing delays beyond our control. While this happens, rest assured that your funds are secure, and we are actively monitoring the situation. Once the network clears, your transaction will proceed.
π Exceeded KYC Limits
If your transaction exceeds your KYC (Know Your Customer) limits, additional verification may be required. You'll receive detailed instructions via email if this applies to you. Be sure to check your inbox and follow the steps to avoid further delays.
π© Technical Issues
On rare occasions, technical issues on our side can cause delays. Our dedicated technical team works hard to resolve these as quickly as possible. Your funds remain safe, and if a technical issue prevents us from processing your transaction, weβll promptly issue a refund.
π Keep an eye on your emails or our Ramp Network Support account on X (ex-Twitter), where we promptly share any system-wide issues and important updates.
π How can I check the status of my crypto sale?
When you complete your transaction, you'll be presented with a link to your receipt on the final screen of the Ramp Network widget.
Alternatively, check your email inbox for a transaction confirmation email from Ramp Network, which also contains a link to the same receipt.
This receipt contains all the details of the transaction, including its current status.
